CNC Turning Capabilities

Specialty Design’s CNC lathe shop is ready to process your standard metals, stainless steel, exotic alloys, and plastics. Our CNC turning centers are equipped with the following features:

  • Ability to hold tolerances up to +/- 0.0003”
  • Capacity up to 25” diameter, 80” length
  • Dual turrets and 4 axis machining capability
  • Special tooling and machinery for long run manufacturing
  • Prototype production
  • DNC interfaces and steadyrests
  • Integration with MasterCam 3D computer aided manufacturing (CAM) software
